The light grey is reminiscent of Folklore, the pink is reminiscent of Lover, the dark grey is reminiscent of Reputation, the light tan is reminiscent of 1989, the red is reminiscent of Red, the purple is reminiscent of Speak Now, and the dark tan is reminiscent of Fearless.
The alternate flag was proposed by a user going by Ally on November 15th, 2020. It holds the same meaning as the first one, but is shaped more like a snake's eye, as a reference to Taylor Swifts reputation as a 'snake.'
