Historically, the term "straightqueer" was slang for a gay person presenting themselves in a metropolitan and "straight-passing" way.<ref>[http://graphbooks.com/index.php/app/detail/straightqueer An archived zine from 1972 about gay culture in Berkeley, California, entitled "Straightqueer." ▲An alternate straight queer flag was created by FANDOM user Scourgeface on January 12, 2021. The lavender stripe represents trans people, the pink binary women and women-aligned people (including through a multigender experience), the yellow non-binary genders, the green aro-spec people, the blue binary men or men-aligned people (including through a multigender experience), and the purple ace-spec people.
Scourgeface also created the same flag but with a white circle in the center. The circle is white because white is all light and therefore all colors, representing all pride flags. The circle shape encircles every identity/group that is not specified by the stripes, or for those who technically fall under a stripe but don't connect with it specifically (ie. nonbinary falls under transgender however not every nonbinary person identifies with being trans.)
