The main idea is that stellarians identify as a gender that is unrelated to [[Masculine|masculinity]] and [[Feminine|femininity]] and/or manhood and womanhood, however they still feel gendered and on a similar "plane" as male and female. There are many different stellarian identities, as there are stars in the sky. This is unlike [[agender]] or [[singularian]], which are a complete lack of alignment.

The green stripes of the flag represent the varying levels in which people can experience being stellarian. The yellow stripe represent the non-binary nature of this gender. Black represents those with no gender. Grey represents the varying levels in which people can experience gender.
