Starfluid and Kuiperian are two terms for the same non-binary xenogender in the celestial gender system. It is a gender that is fluid between multiple soft celestial genders. It is a form of genderfluid linked to celestial energy or aesthetics. A starfluid person can be fluid towards any genders, with the only consistency being a tie to celestial energy or aesthetics.
History
The term starfluid and the flag were created by Tumblr user Juparian on October 23, 2017[1].
The term Kuiperian was created by System-Lgbt in October of 2018, in a rework of the celestial gender system[2]. The name Kuiperian is based off of the Kuiper Belt, which has thousands of unique asteroids, like all the unique genders one can experience.
The colors of the kuiperian flag are based on the colors of nebulae.
The alternate starfluid/kuiperian flag was designed by DeviantArt user 4874deceive.
