Singstrecomfic is a xenogender using the -comfic suffix that is described as relating to the fact that Sing Street is one's comfort film. -Comfic genders are most used by neurodivergent individuals, but are not exclusive to them.
History
The -comfic suffix was originally created by Tumblr user neopronouns on June 5th, 2021.[1] Singstrecomfic was created a subset of this gender concept by Tumblr user mygenderisamess on June 6th, 2021.[2]
Flags
The flags were shared in the same post as the singstrecomfic coining on June 6th, 2021.[2] The colors were based off of one of the movie posters for Sing Street. Bun created a second version of this flag as well with less bright colors.
