Shakesqueerian is a xenogender connected to both genderqueer and Shakespearean aesthetics. One who identifies as shakesqueerian may feel that Early Modern English also known as Shakespearean English, Shakespearean literature and Shakespearean aesthetics impacts their gender. They may also feel like their gender is tranquil and romantic.

    History

Shakesqueerian was coined by wiki user PluralStarlets on May 28, 2021. Inspiration for this gender came from a user in the LGBTA+ Wiki discord server saying "Shakesqueer."
