Sapphocupioandro refers to someone who might sexually identify as a lesbian/is sexually attracted to women, but they are willing to have sex with men, despite experiencing no sexual attraction towards men. The reasons for these activities, include but is not limited to: pleasure, economic reasons, reproduction, artistic expression, etc. It can be considered a more specific form of both cupiogex and femkalosmin.
The term might be useful for individuals whose sexual attraction is very from other types of attraction (perioriented). Such individuals might not feel comfortable with the term “lesbian”, since their other types of attraction are not exclusive to women.[1]
