Resexual is a term with two definitions. Originally defined as feeling attraction towards an ex, or to someone after significant time away from them has passed. The second coining is for someone whose orientation changes based on certain internal factors, particularly their mood. It is under the umbrella for abrosexual. At times, the person could be straight, bisexual, gay, pansexual, etc. A resexual person's orientation can change based on things like mood, time, or even what they ate.
History
The term resexual was coined on or before 2017. It was used in an edited photograph of a flyer from the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario for a ‘LGGBDTTTIQQAAPP’ inclusiveness training session.[1][2]
