Repulsion Descriptors are used to classify a person's stance on activities related to certain types of relationships. They are meant to classify both the attraction as well as the level of repulsion toward any type of relationship or interaction in one compact term. For example, someone who is asexual but sex favourable, and would only consider having sex with someone of the same gender would be asexual homofav.

Possible gender spectrum refers to who the person may feel attraction or repulsion towards. This section can be placed between attraction and type of relationship, before favorability or in both places. It may also be omitted if the person feels no attraction and is repulsed by the type of relationship. Prefixes (and/or suffixes) for gender spectrum include:

Additionally, if a person has specified that their possible gender spectrum for the favorability of an interaction encompasses a specific group, they may wish to add a third word to specify their favorability for other gender identities outside of the specified group. For example, someone who is heterofav and repulsed by attraction to all others, they could identify as "heterofav elrep" ("el" referring to all else). Some may prefer not to use this identifier, either because they wish to leave their favorability ambiguous or if their gender spectrum already encompasses all gender identities (e.g. pan).

Repulsion descriptors where made with a-spec people in mind.
