    A relationship collector refers to a polyamorous individual who, after securing a relationship, always wants more. For example wanting four relationships, and upon having four active relationships one would want more.

    This does not mean they are dissatisfied with their partners, but rather desires to grow the relationship and find more love.

    History

    The term was coined by Tumblr user Hunddeskrieges on or before August 5th of 2016.

    Flag

    The first two relationship hoarder flags were coined by Tumblr user Hunddeskrieges and posted through Pride-Color-Schemes account on August 5th of 2016. The yellow stands for queerplatonic relationships, the orange stands for sexual relationships, and the red stands for romantic relationships.

    The third flag was coined by Reddit user u/disneyfan1413 at an unknown point of 2020 and was posted onto r/QueerVexillology.
