Quasiromantic is a romantic orientation/identity where one's romantic attraction is definitely present, but differs from "typical" romantic attraction. It doesn't differ in a way that it is less intense, frequent, or more conditional, but that it is romantic attraction that just feels different than what most would think romantic attraction would feel like, while still definitely being romantic attraction. It is not inherently aro-spec, but it could be for some individuals.
It may feel like perhaps a mix between platonic, romantic, aesthetic, or somewhere completely different and/or it involves other non-traditional aspects, such as rare attraction, or attraction but non-physical, non-platonic but romantic. It is romantic attraction, but non-traditionally.

Quasiromantic was coined by now deactivated tumblr blog jadekarkat. The flag was designed tumblr blog pride-flags-for-us, though their blog was changed so it's no longer on their blog and instead from this source.
