Pseudogender is a gender identity that describes someone who is accustomed to presenting as their assigned gender in public, but identifies with a different gender identity(s).
Pseudogender individuals don't feel uncomfortable with their assigned gender but do not identify with it and would prefer being treated as their true gender identity. They might feel uncomfortable if the assigned gender role is forced on them.
Unlike demigender folk, pseudogender individuals do not identify with their assigned gender and instead think of it as a mask, disguise, or performance.
Pseudogender individuals may specify the gender they express as by using terms such as pseudofemale, pseudomale, pseudoera, pseudovir, etc.
Pseudogender may be combined with the true gender identity of the individual as well. For example, pseudovenus non-binary or Pseudomars agender.
