Prospatheiaromantic, shortened to prosparomantic, is an aromantic spectrum label where in order to feel romantic attraction, one must first convince oneself that they do or should feel attracted to an individual. A prospatheiaromantic can also switch crushes off at will. It generally requires a certain level of effort and dedication to sustain romantic interest.
The sexual counterpart is prospatheiasexual.
History
The term was coined on January 8th, 2021 by wiki user Peanut Butter Fruit Potato.[1]
Flag
The flag was designed on January 9th, 2021 by Peanut Butter Fruit Potato. The black, white and green are a simplified version of the aromantic flag while red represents the effort required to counter the aromanticism.
The black, white and green stripes should each be of equal area, meaning that the outer two should each take up approximately 41% of the height of the flag and the white stripe should take up approximately 18%.
