Prospasexual, short for prospatheiasexual, is an asexual spectrum label where in order to feel sexual attraction, one must first convince oneself that they do or should feel attracted to an individual. A prospasexual can also switch smushes off at will. It generally requires a certain level of effort and dedication to sustain sexual interest.
The romantic counterpart is prosparomantic.
History
The term was coined on January 8th, 2021 by wiki user Peanut Butter Fruit Potato.[1]
Flag
The flag was designed on January 9th, 2021 by Peanut Butter Fruit Potato. The black, white and purple are a simplified version of the asexual flag while red represents the effort required to counter the asexuality.
The black, white and purple stripes should each be of equal area, meaning that the outer two should each take up approximately 41% of the height of the flag and the white stripe should take up approximately 18%.
