    The pronoungender flag.

Pronoungender, often stylized as (pronoun)gender, is a placeholder-type gender for when one is non-binary and is unsure of what one's exact gender is, but one does know what their pronouns are and feels that those are adequate and significant enough in the meantime.

In some cases, this may not be considered a placeholder, as some may think of their gender as nothing more than pronouns. It is a way of being non-specifically non-binary.[1] It can also be used as a term if one sees their gender as nothing more than pronouns, or does not want to or feels they cannot elaborate further beyond their pronouns.

Forms of pronoungender include, but are not limited to, shegender, hegender, neogender, nounselfgender, itgender, and theygender.
