Pronounflux is when ones pronoun preferences fluctuate in intensity.

An individual who is pronounflux does not have to be genderflux, they can be any gender. When other pronouns are fluctuating in intensity, some pronouns may feel the same while the others change.

Another example is when an individual has a batch of pronouns one uses but how much one likes or associates with those pronouns fluctuates. This can go from 100% to 0%.

The individual may also have a base set of pronouns, such as he/him, but they may not always prefer those pronouns, or experience euphoria from them.

History

The term was first coined on April 29th, 2021 by Tumblr user mogaihoard.^[1]

The term was then recoined on May 3rd, 2021, by FANDOM user FruitySystem.^[2]

The alternate flag which is orange, white, and blue-green was made by user PhysicsAndPuns. The two other flags were made by FruitySystem.
