    Pronoun ambivalence is a term for who has mixed feelings about their pronouns or having pronouns used to refer to them. They may possibly fluctuate between being neutral about pronouns, being nullpronminal and/or apothipronomial, and being favorable towards pronouns.

    It is based on the terms sex-ambivalent and romance ambivalent.

    The Pronoun ambivalence flag was coined by a user going by Anderson on November 15th, 2020. The shades of grey stands for fluctuating feelings about their pronouns, pink stands for feminine-associated pronouns, blue stands for masculine-associated pronouns, purple stands for neutral-associated pronouns, and black stands for every other pronoun type. The design stands for the use of pronouns in conversation.
