Programgender is a xenogender in which people feel connected to computer programs, either strongly identifying as them or using them in their gender to better understand their identity. It was created with neurodivergent people in mind, although anyone can use the term.
Programgender can be an umbrella term for any gender that has a connection to a specific computer program, or it can be used a gender on its own to show a connection to computer programs in general.
Programgender can fall under other genders such as computergender or webgender.
