Pridian, also called pridegender, is a xenogender that is part of the Singender System. The gender can be related to:
- The dark, being full and also cold.
- Being confident with ones gender when talking about it, feeling confident experiencing it, and loving one's gender.
- Gender being a priority to oneself (an opposite to Cassgender).
It can be used in combination with terms such as:
- Demipridian: One or more of their genders hold great importance.
- Woman-Related pridian: The feminne part of their gender holds great importance, and it may or may not affect their relationships.
History and Flags
The term was coined by fandom users TheFlowersSystem on May 18th, 2021. The flag was made with the symbol of pride, and its blue shades represent darkness and coldness.
The alternate flag was created by Fandom user PhysicsAndPuns on May 18th, 2021. The color purple represents royalty, often related to pride, and the lion is often historically used as a symbol of pride as well.
