Postgender is a feeling that one’s identity has been heavily influenced and shaped by a gender that one no longer experiences.[1] For example, a postboy no longer feels that their gender identity is male but still feels a strong connection to masculinity or has been shaped by it in some way.
Not to be confused with postgenderism.
History
The term was coined sometime before June 21, 2018.[1]
