Polarsensualspike flag by Drachenauge, based on the polarsensual and *-spike flags. The flag consists of three horizontal stripes and two vertical spikes in the middle that point upwards and the other one downwards. The broad upper and lower stripes are in orange and light blue, which are the colours from the polarsensual flag. The light orange smaller stripe in the middle comes from the asensual flag. The spikes are violet and in the sensual attraction flags colour.

The polarsensualspike flag consists of four horizontal stripes. Top down the colours are bright orange, light blue, white, black. In the middle are two triangle outlines forming a diamond shape. Each one encompasses two of the horizontal stripes. The outlines on top of the light blue stripe are bright orange, the ones on top of the bright organge stripe are light blue. For the lower triangle it's the same with white and black.

Polarsensualspike is an asen*-spec orientation that combines polarsensual and asensualspike. One usually feels no sensual attraction, but occasionally has rare and sudden spikes of sensual attraction before returning to one's normal amount of asensuality. May that be for seconds, days, weeks or any other timespan. During these spikes one strongly feels sensual attraction, otherwise they are completely asensual and/or touch-repulsed, with no in-between state.

    History

The term was coined by Tumblr user Drachenauge on November 9th, 2023.[1][2]

    Flag

The first flag was made by Tumblr user Drachenauge on November 9th, 2023.[1][2] It's based on the polarsensual and *-spike flags (see e.g. arospike). The bright orange and light blue coloured stripes are taken from the polarsensual flag. The light orange middle stripe represents asensuality, while the violet spikes represent sensual attraction.

The first and second alternate flags were made by the same user on November 29th, 2023.[3][4] Both alternatives are based on the polarsensual flag. The spikes, which are kept in the original polarsensual flags colours, represent the spike part of this orientation.
