The term Pokésexual (also Pokesexual) describes someone who is attracted to Pokémon. Pokésexuality may be related to zoophilia in some forms, due to many Pokémon being animalistic in nature. The term does not specify the gender of said Pokémon, but it is generally observed to be coupled to bisexuality.

This term is controversial in whether it is harmful or not, due to the fact that many Pokémon can communicate through non-verbal (and even sometimes verbal) ways. However, the sexualization of Pokémon is often shown through illustrated images of sexual slavery, as Pokémon are, in many cases, unable to deny their masters commands.
