    Platonicgender is a term for when one is the gender of the individuals near them that they are platonically attracted to. When they do not know to who the individual is attracted to or if there is no one around them, they feel a gender that is called the 'base gender'.

    Platonic can be used as a prefix, ex: platonicboy.

    Platonicboy: an individual who's sexualygender and their base gender is masc or masc-aligned.

    Platonicgirl: an individual who's sexualygender and their base gender is feminine or feminine-aligned.

    History

    This term was coined in the comments of sexualygender on the LGBTA wiki by FANDOM users Althewolf and JaidenRoseLmao on the LGBTA wiki on October 9, 2021. [1]
