Petregender is a xenogender and neurogender that is influenced by or related to one's experiences with pet-regression. This term is exclusively for pet-regressors.
History
This term was coined by Tumblr user clouds-queer-blog on April 15th, 2021.[1]
The original petregender flag was also created by nelteon-coins on the same day.

The flag colors currently have no known meaning, but the pink overtone was meant to connect back to the age-regender flag, as there are lots of overlap between age-regressors and pet-regressors. The colors were picked with furry pets in mind.
