Perigender is a gender with two possible definitions. The first, and most common definition, is when one identifies with a gender, but not as that gender. One may feel like their gender is comparable to a certain gender, but is not that gender or does not full fit the definition of that gender. It may be similar to offgender. The second definition is a gender that is not currently known, but is becoming clearer over time. It is a transitional identity.

The grey stripes represent areas "in-between" genders, the yellow stripes represent being non-binary, and the blue and pink stripes represent masculinity and femininity respectively.
