    The pencontrasexual flag

    Pencontrasexual refers to the attraction to all genders except the gender that is the "opposite" or "other" of one's own. It can be considered an umbrella term. What gender exactly is the "opposite" of one's identity can be determined by the individual. The opposite to pencontrasexual is penultisexual.

    Examples include a nonbinary demiboy attracted to boys and nonbinary people, but not girls, or a bigender girl-boy being attracted to girls and boys, but not nonbinary people.

    This term is especially helpful for multigender, genderfluid, polysexual, and abrosexual people.

    History

    The term was coined on February 7th, 2021 by FANDOM user TsukihiTatsu[1] as an opposite term to penultisexual.

    Flag

    The flag was designed by TsukihiTatsu on February 8th, 2021. The off-white circle and off-black stripe dividing it off from the other stripes represents the opposites that will never come in contact. The stripes are all opposites of each other on the color wheel while also lining up with common colors representing to feminine, masculine, non-binary, and xenine genders.

    Etymology

    The name is a combination of two Latin words- paene meaning "very close to" and contra meaning "opposite".
