This term was coined by FANDOM user Kittystreams1 (Tumblr user itsnovasworld{formerly}, ellisarjourney{currently}) and Tumblr user theblog-of-a-gayteen{formerly}, panaceparent{currently}, on or before October 27th 2021. The paranonbinarygirl flag was created by the same users. Paranonbinarygirl was origionally coined via a Tumblr post, however, this post has since been deleted, so the earliest remaining evidence of the term being coined by these users is through Kittystreams1's creation of this article.

Paranonbinarygirl, or paranonbinaryfem, is when someone is 51-99% non-binary and 1-49% a girl.
