An alternate numbergender flag was created by FANDOM user [[User:Bluesprucedude|Bluesprucedude]] on May 16, 2021. The hexcodes of the two stripes of the alternate flag are inspired by two of the simplest equations in mathematics:
*The quantity 0.999 followed by an infinite string of nines is equivalent to one, or 1=0.99999999999999999, resulting in the hexcode #099999 or turquoise.
*The Pythagorean theorem, or a2+b2=c2, where the value of "a" is one (a=1), as the first letter in the alphabet, and so on, resulting in the hexcode #122232 or dark turquoise.
The use of the equals or = sign represents both equations and inclusivity.
