A Novosexual person is someone who's sexuality fluctuates along with their gender identity. It can be described as being genderfluid and abrosexual at the same time in such a way that there is no consistency in one's gender/sexuality. For example, on one day they could be a lesbian women, however on another day they could be a bisexual agender, and an asexual demiboy another day. The length of time between fluctuations will vary from person to person. For some people it may take years or months, for other people it may change in terms of weeks or days. The changes could be on a consistent schedule or they could be random. |

It |
It is possible for one to be abrosexual and genderfluid while not being novosexual. Novosexual only occurs when one's sexual orientation changes at the same time as their gender identity. If someone's gender and sexuality change independently from each other that person is not novosexual. For example, if they are the same gender for one week, but their sexuality changes three times within that week then they are not novosexual. |
||
A person is also not novosexual if their sexuality and gender change at the same time but in a consistent way, for example omnique/omnigay. A novosexual person's gender and sexuality change in an unpredictable way, so sometimes they may be attracted to the same gender, and sometimes not, sometimes attracted to multiple genders, sometimes attracted to no genders. The key is that both their gender identity and sexual orientation shift at the same time. |
