-nostic is a suffix used for xenogenders relating to nostalgia.^[1] An example could be sunnynostic. Sunnynostic is a xenogender that is connected to fuzzy and warm feelings of nostalgia, sunsets, sunflowers, etc.^[1] There are many subsets of -nostic genders, listed in the category.

On 2021/8/10, user mogai-sunflowers coined the term on Tumblr.^[1] On 2022/7/18, miraheze user Xinaphoria created the flag.
