Nonrecipestosexual is an ace-spec identity in which one's attraction to someone disappears after finding out they do not reciprocate those feelings, but over time the attraction fades back, even if one knows the individual still does not feel the same way about them.

    The nonrecipestosexual flag.

For example, A is attracted to B. B makes it clear to A that they do not like them back; therefore, A's attraction to B disappears. Over time, even though A knows B is still not attracted to them, A's attraction to B fades back, and A is now attracted to B again. This attraction may or may not disappear again.

    The romantic equivalent is nonrecipestoromantic.
