    The nonpuella flag.
    Alternate nonpuella flag by nbandproud on tumblr
    Another alternate nonpuella flag.

    Nonpuella or nonera refers to someone who is not female, partially female, or female-aligned in any way but still experiences some connection to femininity in their gender. It can also be described as a gender that is fingender but is not fiaspec/female-aligned. Nonpuella can be used as a gender on it own, or it can be used to encompass several genders, such as melle, faesari, and juxera.

    The masculine equivalent is nonpuer and the androgynous equivalent is nonpuerella.

    History

    It is unknown who coined nonpuella or its main flag. The alternate nonpuella flag was designed by tumblr user nbandproud on September 29, 2016.

    Flag

    The color meanings for the first alternate flag are:

    The pink is for femininity;

    The green is for the separation of this gender from the gender binary;

    The star is for simultaneous separation and connection- stars are separate from Earth but still seen from it and seen as together with it, like how nonpuella people are separate from femalehood but still in connection with femininity.

    Etymology

    The term comes from the latin words "puella", meaning girl, and "non", meaning not.
