Nãodos is a term used to describe a relationship that appears/passes as typical and/or monogamous, however is truly non-monogamous or non-typical. Some examples include...
- An open relationship, swinging relationship, or a relationship that is geograpically non-monogamous.
- A hierarchical polyamorous relationship that has only one primary partner that is typically seen in public.
- One or more partners is ambiamorous, syndeamorous, or monopoly and is in a current monogamous relationship.
- Two individuals in a wavership.
- Two non-monogamous individuals with online partners or long-distance partners.
There are many more examples, however these are the main two.
History
Nãodos was coined on February 14th of 2021 by Cryptocrew.
Etymology
Não means 'no' in latin while dos means 'from' in Portugese. These words were chosen to say that those who are nãodos are "not from typical relationships."
