Muuno is an term that resonates with the moon and night. It is melancholic yet content, feeling bittersweet almost. It can represent the pensive feeling that one is not allowed to label themselves after being indifferent, not having considered, or having stuck with a previous gender for so long.

“Why am I so worried about how I am perceived all of a sudden? I don’t think I should have a say in something, even though I identify as it and experience it.”

Eventually, the identifier may come to terms with how they identify. Part of them may still feel that have no say in topics related to their identity, but overall they feel content and calm with what they now perceive themselves as and are now at ease.

This term can be used along side another gender or identity (muunogirl, muunoboy, muunonbinary, muuno-trans, etc) or as a identity on its own. It can be used to refer to sexualities and other attraction related identities (muuno-gay, muuno-bisexual, etc)

This term may also be used to explain one’s bittersweet experience with gender.
