Mutopronoun denotes to one’s pronouns

changing in certain situations or contexts, for example someone might want people to refer to them as he/him pronouns but might want people to use she/her, they/them or any other sets of pronouns in other situations or contexts. Mutopronounal people might use pronouns that currently align to their gender identity such as people who are genderfluid but it doesn’t have to.

History

The term mutopronoun comes from the term mutogender meaning their gender identity changes depending on the context or situation. The term mutopronoun was coined by Sgtdeathcat on November 1st, 2020.

The original flag was made by Sgtdeathcat on November 1st, 2020. The design was heavily

inspired by the he/him, she/her, they/them and neopronoun flags. The flag has had many redesigns by its creator but the current one was made by them on November 1st, 2020. The colours represent the mutogender flag as the style of other pronoun flags and the wave represent pronoun fluidity.
