Mulvirlian is an umbrella term for anyone who is androgynous presenting and/or androgynously aligned, fluidly or not. This includes androgynes, lingenders, Eclipsians, demiandrogynes, Midgenders, Androxes other androgynous aligned or presenting folk. Someone who is expression fluid, for example, may feel androgynous at some point, and be categorised as Mulvirlian at that time. The term Mulvirlian comes from the Latin words "muliebris" and "virilis", "virilis" meaning "masculine" and "muliebris" meaning "feminine". The term and flag were coined on February 5th 2021 by FANDOM user Zer0Rebel4, the flag representing mercury, which is known as an androgynous presenting entity in history.
