Multigender is a term for someone who experiences two or more genders. It can be used as a gender identity on its own or can be an umbrella term. This includes bigender (two genders), trigender (three genders), quadgender (four genders), omnigender (many genders), and pangender (all genders). Multigender people may experience two or more gender identities at the same time, or their gender identity may change over time, making them genderfluid. If a person experiences experiences fluctuation in the intensity of those genders, they could also possibly be multiflux.
Trigender
Trigender people experience three genders. They could experience these genders at the same time or they could fluctuate between these genders.
Quadgender
Quadgender people experience four genders. They could experience these genders at the same time or they could fluctuate between these genders.
Pangender
A pangender person is someone who experiences all genders. This could mean many things.
- A person who is a large number of genders, at the same time or not (too many to count).
- A person who is all genders within their own culture and life experience, at the same time or not.
- A person who is infinite genders within their own culture and life experience, at the same time or not.
- A person whose gender experience goes beyond the known genders within their own culture and life experience .
