Moscaygender/Moscaycoric is a gender that feels like growing and thriving moss that is living off a very dead and decaying tree. This can represent one gender flourishing while another dies out, or simply how one views and perceives one's gender. This term may be used by anyone but is aimed at neurodivergent people who may use it to explain their gender.

This term was coined by Tumblr user 17-link-17 on 5th February, 2021. The flag was also created on the same day by the same user.[1]
