Modgender is a xenogender in which one's gender is assosiated with a modified game. It can be used as an umbrella term or on it's own. this can be in relation to mods in general, general mods of a specific game, or a specific mod for a specific game. Someone who's modgender may feel as if:
- their gender has a connection with a modded version of a game.
- their gender is influenced differently when playing with mods than if they were playing a vanilla version, or not playing the game at all at all.
- a gender that is incluenced/changed by a modded game.
- their gender in-it of itself had been modded.
- their gender is connected to the aesthetic of mods.
a mod- prefix can be added to any gender or gamegender to indicated the modgender version of that gender. for example: mod-boy, mod-girl, mod-minecraftgender, mod-funkingender. modgender could also be used to umbrella terms related to mods, for example: Whittygender (Friday Night Funkin's "VS Witty" mod), MCaethergender (Minecraft's "Aether" mod), or Jestergender (Among Us' "Jester" mod)
