Mispronominal is a term describing individuals who feel comfortable with a set of pronouns when certain individuals refer to them as such, but when other individuals refer to them with these pronouns it feels uncomfortable or may even spark a feeling of dysphoria. An example could be one's sibling using he/him and it feeling uncomfortable, but a close friend using he/him feels fine.
Mispronominal individuals may feel comfortable with some using a certain set of pronouns for them that others can't without discomfort because of a close emotional bond with them, the sound of their voice while saying the pronouns, or for unspecified/unidentifiable reasons.
Mispronominal individuals may also be multipronominal and may have at least one set of pronouns that is comfortable at all times, if not more.
