Microgametic, also called spermatogenic or testi person, is a term that describes someone with testes who is capable of spermatogenesis (production of sperm).
The counterpart is macrogametic. It could be also synonymous to spermatogenous.
History
The term may have been publicized as an intersex term by Tumblr user acro-pluris on August 24, 2018,[1] but the term "microgametic" has been around since August 24, 2014.[2] The term appears to be purposed by an intersex pangender biologist, Cari Rez Lobos, in the former Espectrometria Não-Binária.[3][4][5]
