Microgametic, also called spermatogenic or testi person, is a term that describes someone with testes who is capable of spermatogenesis (production of sperm/microgametes).
The counterpart is macrogametic. It could be also synonymous to spermatogenous.
History
The term may have been publicized as an biosex term by Tumblr user arco-pluris on August 24, 2018,[1] but the term "microgametic" has been around since August 24, 2014.[2] The term appears to be purposed by an intersex pangender biologist, Cari Rez Lobos, in the former Espectrometria Não-Binária.[3][4][5]
