Mephic is a daedragender that is an unknown gender that fills one with anxiety about not knowing it. It has an underlying tone of power and otherworldly energy. It is based off the Daedric Prince Mephala from the Elder Scrolls Series, who represents lies and secrets.

The term and flag were created by Tumblr users uncommongenders and fathermartinarchimbaud on February 2, 2018.^[1]
