Mascprox is a gender that is very near to binary maleness, but not strictly so. A mascprox individual identifies with certain aspects of binary maleness, but not all aspects.
It can be considered a specific form of genderprox. Its feminine counterpart is femprox.

Mascprox was coined by Gent from Tumblr blog gender-resource, July 8th, 2020, in a response to a question by an anonymous user.[1]

The mascprox flag was created by Tumblr user neopronouns, October 13th, 2020. The flag's design was based off that of the boyprox flag.[2]
