Mascic is an umbrella term to describe any non-straight attraction to men or masculine aligned people. It was made with non-binary people in mind but can be used by anyone who experiences non-straight attraction to men. This includes bisexual and pansexual women, and any other women who are attracted to men but are not straight. Mascic people can be exclusively attracted to men or they may be attracted to men along with other genders.
The feminine equivalent to mascic is femaric. The non-binary equivalent is enboric.
Similar terms include achillean, viramoric/toric, marsic, and uranic.
History
The term mascic was coined on the Tumblr blog Goodpositivitylgbt on June 19, 2017. The flag design was posted in the same post[1].
