Magicfoxgender was first mentioned on a post in discussions by Lilian(FANDOM user CasualChaos) on August 23, 2021[1]. Lilian then defined the term on August 24, 2021[2].

The flag was created by Rowan(another headmate in the system) with Lilian’s help. The dark orange represents fox aesthetics, the bright orange represents foxes, the light blue represents sparkles, the pink represents magic, and the purple represents magic aesthetics.
