Macrogametic or megagametic, also called ovogenic, or ovari person, is a term that describes someone with ovaries who is capable of oogenesis (production an ovum/egg cell/macrogametes).

The counterpart is microgametic. It could be called oogenic, oogenous, ovulogenous, ovogenous, or ovulogenic.

History

The term appears to be purposed by an intersex pangender biologist in the former Espectrometria Não-Binária.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]
