MOGAI (Marginalized Orientations Genders And Intersex) or MOGII (Marginalized Orientations Gender Identities and Intersex) is a proposed acronym that includes everyone whose sexuality or gender deviates from the "standard" of heterosexual, perioriented, cisgender, dyadic. The term is synonymous with LGBT, and was designed to be a simpler version of it, since MOGAI does not list out all the identities included it is inclusive of all minor, and lesser known identities, and does not have to add extra letters, like is commonly seen with the LGBT acronym.

MOGAI is not as widely used as LGBT or it's variants. MOGAI is most commonly seen online when talking about lesser known identities. This is because of an intentional smear campaign against the term, both from online homophobic groups, as well as REG groups within the community. The term was targeted by REG groups mainly because it is inclusive of everyone, including those which they are trying to gate-keep against.

    The MOGAI flag.
