    The lunarset flag.

Lunarset is a gender identity where one feels their gender is neutral (or slightly feminine), but with strong feminine influences. These influences can change how one labels their gender. One may use feminine gender labels, but still feel that their gender is not entirely or very feminine at all.

The femininity felt and shown is powerful, overwhelming, and affects how one presents and behaves. The intensity is that of the moon.

    The masculine equivalent is solarset.

    History

The term was coined by Tumblr user gendersimulator on February 23, 2020. The flag was created the same day.[1]

    Flag

The moon alchemical symbol on the flag represents the perceived femininity of the moon, and the intensity of which femininity can be felt. The purple and plum colors represent a soft sky and femininity, the greyish yellows represent the moon and its intensity, and the white is for nonbinariness, nullgendered-ness or third-genderedness.

    Etymology

The prefix '-set' was coined by Tumblr user gendersimulator. It describes genders that can be altered or shifted, or feel different sometimes, but the base of it is the same. The base of lunarset is neutral but slightly feminine.
