Lone Relations (LR) is a type of relationship that only occurs when the individuals involved are single. For example, A and B decide that they would like a lone relation; the two involved go on dates, kiss, and cuddle until A is asked out on a date. When A finds a new partner that they like, A and B revert to simply being friends (until/unless A breaks up with their partner, and is single again.)
This relationship could be based upon romantic, sexual, or tertiary involvement.
